How can I save my eBOL for later, or create an eBOL template?

While filling out your eBOL, you can click on 'Save BOL for Later' at the bottom of any of the eBOL webpages. Choose either Save as Template, or Save as Incomplete Entry, fill out a name, and click save. You will get a message that your template or incomplete BOL has been saved.

How do I retrieve eBOL templates after saving them?

Navigate to your account username, then click 'My Account.' On the next page, select BOL Templates. You will find Incomplete BOL entries, saved BOL Templates, and recent shipments. If you’d like to resume filling out an incomplete BOL, click on the Incomplete BOL Tab and select the BOL name.

How long do I have to modify the pickup data for an electronic BOL?

Same day pickups on an electronic BOL cannot be modified. However, if your pickup is NOT the same day, you can modify the pickup data until it is assigned to a driver, normally within 4-10 hours of the pickup.

General Bill of Lading FAQ

“Prepaid” means the shipper will be invoiced for the freight charges. “Collect” means the consignee will be invoiced for the freight charges. This information is required on the Bill of Lading. The default setting for freight charges is “Prepaid.” If a shipment has been picked up, any changes to denote the paying party can result in shipping delays.

If the Bill of Lading was created within the last 14 days with our electronic Bill of Lading tool, and has not yet been assigned to a driver for pickup, you may log onto our Modify or Cancel Bill of Lading page, select the Bill of Lading you wish to modify, and make the changes needed. If the pickup is scheduled for today and does not appear in your list of modifiable PROs, it has already been assigned to a driver. You will need to contact the origin service center for assistance.
